Nancy's Legacy: A Bench by the Sea

Some people have asked if they can contribute to something in my mom’s name. We very much would like to make a memorial bench and put it at the sonoma county coast where my mom loved to go with our family and most recently in August with my girls even though she was slowing down. Please do not feel obligated but we would love any contribution you can spare. She did so much for the world and this seems the best way to celebrate what she loved and nurtured.

It is with indescribable sadness that I let you know that my mom, Nancy died in my arms while we were on vacation in Vermont. She was an amazing woman who overcame incredible odds not once but many times in her life. Above all else she was generous and kind more than anyone I have ever known and she believed in people regardless of where they stood in life. She loved animals, plants and the natural world. She absolutely adored her three grandchildren and felt lucky to have as much time as she did with them. We will miss her in so many ways. If you knew her please share memories, photos or anything else with us. Thank you for the outpouring of love and support we have already been receiving. We do not yet have a memorial service plan but when we do, we’ll be sure to reach out to everyone.
