Nancy's Hope: Recovering from Devastation

Most of you already know me and know my story. For those of you that don't know me, my name is Nancy. On February 16th of last year, my husband TJ came to pick me up from work around 11 pm. As we were headed home, the dash lights went out. TJ pulled into the right lane, and we were stopped at a red light with our hazards on.

He was calling our insurance company to see about getting a tow. Within minutes, some guy in a pickup truck plowed into us. Supposedly, he fell asleep behind the wheel. That night forever changed my life. I had two brain bleeds and have been left with deficits because of it. I can't work because now my balance is bad and my short-term memory is affected. TJ was severely injured, and four days later, I took him off life support, and he died in my arms. He was the love of my life. I have been lost without him.

I used up all our savings to live off of this past year. I have 112 dollars left in the bank, and then I will be flat broke. I hate to ask for money, but I have nowhere else to turn. I am applying for disability, but that takes time.
