Nancy’s final trip wish

I am creating this gofundme at the request of my beautiful mom. Nancy was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer in 2016. She underwent treatment and a double mastectomy. After about a year or so, her treatments were completed and we were so happy she was healthy again! In 2019 we got the dreaded news that her cancer metastasized into her bones. This is when they tested her to find out she had a genetic mutation of the CDH1 gene which has very high risks of breast cancer and hereditary diffused gastric cancer. She started her second round of treatment in June of 2019 and is still currently going through treatments. 2 months ago we found that the cancer has now moved to her brain and nervous system after an ER trip for losing vision in her right eye. They have started a new chemo, but we have been told that she doesn’t have much longer. She has been talking for the last year about going to Disneyland with her kids, their spouses and her grandkids. She wants to see the excitement and happiness it brings for everyone and have a “final trip” together that everyone will remember . She is on social security so her income is limited, but wants to help with as much of the cost as she can. This fundraiser is to help take take the stress off for her. It will cover her tickets, gas or possibly a plane ticket for her, part of the hotel stay, and the rental of a mobility scooter for the time in the parks. We have been looking into grants to help, but haven’t found anything yet. We are putting in an application with the dream foundation, but they do not reimburse and time is of the essence and we don’t know how long it will take to be approved.
