Nancy Langhorne Foundation Launch

Hello, 

As some of you know I started a charity in honor of my late mother to raise money for cancer research.  

Our main initiative will be a benefit concert at a brewery in Norfolk Virginia on Dec 23, 2017.  We'll have a formal announcement in early October with performers and more details. All proceeds of the concert, silent auction, and merch sales will be donated to a different area of cancer research each year. This year will be pancreatic. 

This being our first year of what we hope is to be an annual thing, we need some start up money to cover operational costs, like money boxes, tables, counters, band, compensation, merch supplies, etc, etc. 

Any leftover money from this start up fundraising will be added to the overall proceeds of our concert and donated to cancer research. 

We’re a 501c3 nonprofit and donors can deduct contributions under IRC section 170.
