Our dear friend Nancy Stewart, friend to animals, lover of life, warm, generous, and compassionate Nancy has just lost everything in a house fire. Gratefully her and her dogs were just able to get to safety. Nancy recently moved to Galveston Texas to start a new life with her love Mike. Let’s help her and her loved ones get back on their feet. I know she would do it for us! Nancy writes: Trying to find the silver lining to this explosive start to the new year. Our house caught on fire this morning just after Mike left for work. I had less than a minute to get the dogs and I out before the flames took us over. Most everything is gone; clothing, money, food, bed, motorcycle, a camping gear - the list goes on. And Mike's work truck is shot from him racing to get back to us.We're still in shock. I never in a million years would have thought this would happen to us.
