Nancy lives in Venezuela and is only paid one dollar a month for her services in a local high school. She is trying to supplement her income with online Spanish tutoring but was recently diagnosed with premature cataracts. One eye is currently almost unusable and if it continues to get worse she will no longer be able to teach as she is struggling to see the books and materials she is using with her students.

Nancy supports her Aunt and a number of neighbors so any loss of income will be devastating for the circle of people who depend on her income. The surgery costs $1,350 and will allow her to continue working and providing for the people around her. I would like to raise an extra $150 to help with medications she will need after the surgery. She has an amazing heart and is trying so hard to lift the people around her. This surgery will be a tremendous blessing both to her, and to her family and friends. 

This past year she was too poor to buy a Christmas dinner so any additional funds will be used to ship her a box of food as a Christmas surprise. Any donation is welcome and appreciated, no matter how small!
