Hi my name is Matt Stitzmeyer, and I am raising money for my wonderful Mom who has had multiple medical set backs recently. We were on a family vacation in Fargo, ND when my mom was experiencing extreme knee pain. She was rushed to a local hospital where they did a lot of different tests. During those test they concluded she has a right knee infection, and would require surgery. In Fargo my mom overdosed on Fentanyl and had to be Narcan back twice. After recovering from that her gear is in Atrial Fibulation which will be with her for the rest of her life. We also got news the surgeon had left on a two week vacation. We had my mom air lifted to Shakopee, MN so they could get the surgery done faster. When preparing for surgery it turned out Fargo didn’t stop her blood thinners, therefore doing a less invasive surgery. This surgery didn’t get rid of the infection and two weeks later she had to have another surgery. She now has a metal rod with antibiotic spacers from her hip to her ankle. She is currently recovering in Benedictine Living Community in our hometown of Owatonna, MN. My mom has been bed ridden since October 15th and continues to fight. My dad has been living alone, but visits Mom almost every day. My parents are on Avery fixed income so I would love if anyone would like to help them with anything it would be greatly appreciated.
