Donation protected
As many of you know, Nancy Shelton, passed on last night at Woodmont in Boonville, IN. At the time she was surrounded by her nephew, Jeffrey Seaton; her niece, Jessica Donahoo; and her cousin, Marla Shawn Fuchs (Shelton). Nancy can be counted among the best of the Shelton clan and of Warrick County. She spent her entire life dedicated to others retiring from teaching at Loge Elementary School to her involvement with Area 10 Indiana Special Olympics, and finally, her love for her family and church family from Baker Chapel UMC, one could never doubt Nancy's love or commitment. She will live on in all who she has touched with her kindness over her years. Unfortunately, her final expenses were not planned, nor paid for.
At this time we, the family who is planning her funeral (myself & Jeffrey), are asking for any donation you can give to help us provide for her burial and a small stone to commemorate her. We don't feel that she would want to be cremated but buried on the hill by her parents at Mills Cemetary. If there would be any funds left over after paying for her service, they will be donated directly to Area 10 Indiana Special Olympics in her honor. We know it's a big ask, but if it's possible we would like to be able to put her to rest as she would want. If the amount to bury her is not reached, the funds will go toward cremation and hopefully a graveside service, with any extra going to the before-named charity. I have to give the funeral home an answer by tomorrow, or Saturday at the latest.
Thank you all,
Jennifer
