Hi. This is my mom, Nancy Hunter, and she passed away on July 2nd, 2021.

She has always been a loving and supportive mother to me and was there for me throughout my life. In 2021, the plan was for her to move in with me for her golden years. I bought a home where I could take care of her. Unfortunately, her health declined much more rapidly than anyone anticipated. She passed peacefully at Huntington Hospital in Pasadena.

Mom was many things including my biggest fan and cheerleader. One thing that she was not good at was finances. She did not make any arrangements for funeral expenses.

I think at these times many people want to know how to help and in lieu of flowers, frankly any help with mom's funeral expenses would be really appreciated. I think the downside being an only child is when it comes to handling these Arrangements, it is all up to one person. So if you feel compelled to give towards mom's funeral, I would greatly appreciate it.

I have set the goal at the actual expense cost, but anything would help. It is not a requirement that the goal is met. I've never done a GoFundMe before. I don't know how to handle these situations, but I see my online friends as my extended family so I wanted to do this fundraiser rather than just try to figure everything out of my own (which is what I usually do).
