Tafsik Organization is asking for your help.
Please Help Nancy Grewal’s Family Through a Brutal and Heartbreaking Loss. Nancy Grewal came to Canada with hope.
Like so many who leave home behind, she came to work hard, stand on her own feet, and support the family she loved. She worked as a personal support worker, caring for others through long, demanding shifts. She did not come here to become a news headline. She came here to build a life with dignity.
Instead, her life ended in horror.
On the night of March 3, 2026, after finishing work at a client’s residence in LaSalle, Ontario, Nancy was brutally stabbed in a targeted attack, and she did not survive. Her killing was sudden, violent, and devastating. The people who loved her are now living through every family’s worst nightmare.
A mother has lost her daughter.
A sister has lost her sister.
A family has lost someone they loved deeply and depended on emotionally and financially.
Their grief is made even heavier by distance and by the painful reality that, in the middle of this unimaginable shock, they have had to manage funeral arrangements, travel, accommodation, Nancy’s belongings, and other urgent matters in Canada.
Nancy’s funeral was held on April 24th, but the financial burden has been overwhelming. The costs associated with the funeral and related expenses have placed an enormous strain on her family, who are now in desperate need of financial assistance as they continue to cope with this devastating loss.
No grieving family should have to carry these burdens alone.
Tafsik Organization is raising funds to help Nancy Grewal’s family with:
• Funeral and memorial expenses
• Travel costs from India for close family members
• Accommodation and local transportation
• Handling Nancy’s belongings and personal affairs
• Outstanding costs and other urgent expenses arising from this tragedy.
Nancy spent her life helping others. Now her family needs our help.
Tafsik has built a strong friendship with the Indian community as we stand together against Jew Hatred and Hinduphobia. In this difficult time, we must show our support for our Indian friends and stand with Nancy’s family as they navigate this profound tragedy.
Our shared commitment to compassion, solidarity, and mutual support means being there for one another when it matters most.
Please donate if you can. Every contribution, no matter the amount, will help ease the burden on a family shattered by a brutal loss. If you are unable to donate, please share this page. That too is an act of compassion.
Nancy deserved safety. She deserved life. She deserved dignity.
Let us now help give her family the support and dignity they need to mourn her and begin the difficult journey forward.
Thank you,
Amir Epstein
