In 2023, Nancy’s creative focus shifted from the studio to the heart when her beloved husband Dan was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. She has embraced this transition not just as a duty but as a living mission to navigate Dans cognitive decline with “ love, dignity and grace.”

Nancy now focuses on maximizing quality time with Dan.

I've learned to cherish the small moments of clarity and engagement, a shared laugh dancing in the kitchen to a familiar song or a quiet afternoon holding hands under their favorite shade tree, treating these experiences as the most important works of art she could ever create.
