We need your help for Nancy.
She is a 35-year-old single mother who has a gentle, quiet, and sweet demeanor but she is also a real fighter! Nancy moved to America in 2014 to start life afresh with her young son (Godson) from Sweden, where she earned her Ph.D. in Immunology and successfully won a fight against breast cancer 2010.
Shortly after moving to Oregon and settling into her apartment, she began to experience pains and insistent coughing which made this cautious young mother visit her doctor for a routine checkup.
A loyal friend, it is easy to love Nancy and find true friendship for all who meet her. It was a great shock and dismay when in August 2016 doctor confirmed the metastasis breast cancer - stage four, into her lungs, liver, and bones!
Nancy works part-time while undergoing weekly chemo treatments so she can keep a roof over Godson and herself. She is struggling to keep her job to support her young son and undergo four months of chemotherapy.
We need to step in and help this young single mother with much prayer and financial support. The future is uncertain due to overwhelming medical and living expenses.
HOW THE MONEY WILL BE SPENT:
· Funds raised will go directly to help with medical and living expenses to relieve Nancy from work so she can spend time recovering from the intensive weekly chemotherapy visits.
· Some funds will cover the costs of hiring a caregiver for Nancy.
· Some funds will help cover any unexpected expenses for the coming months in the New Year 2017.
