Hi, Nancy Ashton Brown, was recently in a near fatal car accident on November 20, 2024. Nancy was on her way to work at the YMCA. She was pinned in her car and had to be extracted from her vehicle, during which time both of her lungs collapsed. Nancy sustained multiple injuries and has already had to have surgery to repair multiple fractures in her pelvis and fractures to her humerus and femur. She also sustained multiple fractures to her ribs, spinal fractures and a fracture to her sternum they are unable to repair surgically. Nancy is still in the shock and trauma Intensive Care Unit at one of Austin”s Level 2 Trauma Centers. The funds raised will go towards Nancy’s expenses and rehabilitation as she works to get healthy and back on her feet.
