On March 21, 2021 our dearly beloved NANAY LEONAIDA MAYO was called home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, Nanay Aida contracted COVID-19, but the Lord provided her strength to overcome the illness, enough to allow her to enjoy a last family meal together on March 13, 2021. What was supposed to be a celebration for her grandson’s birthday, would actually be a celebration of her life not knowing the Lord had different plans for her in the upcoming days to follow where she sadly lost her battle to post-recovery COVID-19 complications.
There are endless things to say about Nanay Aida, but she was full of life, joy and limitless happiness that couldn’t be express in words. Those who knew her and others who knew of her, knew she was a loving and caring person who always put others before herself. Her life was a scrapbook of memories, ones that will never be forgotten and will always live on forever. Her passion for caring for her family, both here in the USA and the Philippines, ensuring everyone had what they needed or the means to get what was needed, was one of many beyond-admirable traits Nanay Aida had. In all of her photos, her smile was indicative of the life she lived and her ability to light up a room instantly. She will truly be missed here on earth, however, we will all one day reunite again in Heaven. For though this is a day of mourning, sadness and memories for us here she left behind, so is it a day of celebration for her new life, eternal life in Heaven alongside our King, Jesus Christ.
We’re seeking any donations or help to help cover funeral expenses. Arrangements are still being made to properly give Nanay Aida what she always wanted, to be back home in the Philippines. Any help at all is graciously appreciated and welcome, we also ask for an abundance of your prayers and love our way. Thank you all in advance. God bless you
“Jesus replied, ‘I assure you that today you will be with Me in paradise.’” — Luke 23:43
