Hello friends! Katrina and Kristina here. We are raising funds to help cover the unexpected health bills for our fur-niece - Nana! Nana is known by everyone for her cute wrinkly face, energetic inquisitiveness, her motherly-instincts, and her loving/slobbery kisses! What you might not know is how much Nana means to our brother, Robin - her Daddy! Robin suffers from health issues that Nana helps him with. In so many ways, Nana is his life line. They mean the world to each other, and are completely inseparable. On Friday Sept 24th, Nana experienced a seizure. While it was terrifying for Robin to witness, the vet reassured him that this could have been a fluke one-time incident. Nana has been so well cared for and has a clean bill of health until now! It is puzzling, but since then, Nana has experienced several more seizures. They are increasing in duration, and Nana is scared. You can imagine how worried we all are, and we just want to get to the bottom of this so we can best take care of Nana. The repeated visits to the doctor, and testing, has already taken a financial toll. Now Nana will need some more specialized tests and probably medication or other medical interventions. We would like to start gathering funds to help take the pressure off of Robin while he takes care of Nana. Robin is the most loving of all dog-parents, as you know if you have met them! Robin is also a dog-trainer and is in the midst of special certifications so he can become a trainer, especially for traumatized and rescued dogs. Nana is Robin's very best friend.
