Right now, Nana & Papa’s Nest Parrot Rescue & Sanctuary is facing something we never imagined… we are being forced to move, the Founders of Nana & Papa's Nest are refusing to renew our lease. We have until August 31st to find a new property and move.

This isn’t just a move. It’s a race against time to secure a true forever sanctuary for nearly 60 parrots who depend on us every single day.

Some of these birds are sanctuary parrots… they are older, special needs, or carry stories of trauma that mean they will never be adopted. This is their home. Their safe place. Their only place.

The others are still waiting—waiting for the right family, the right moment, the right forever. With many more on a waitlist. And until that day comes, we are their everything.

We have found potential properties that could finally give them the stability they deserve… a place where they will never have to be uprooted again. But the reality is, securing that future comes with a cost far beyond what we can do alone.
