Hi, my name is Anne. I'm a single mom of a sweet special needs boy. He's in need of special therapies that I cannot afford and he's suffering because of that and I also take care of my elderly mom now because my dad passed away from esophageal cancer. Her health is not good and I'm all she has. I had a good paying job until Covid19 and lost that job without much notice. I'm now working 2 jobs. One was full time but I was just knocked down to part time.  My gas was shut off today and even though I'm paying as much as I possibly can on the electric, I get shut off notices monthly. I'm barely making enough to pay rent. I'm supposed to start school for Certified Nursing Assistant in February. If I can't pay these bills off, I will not be able to go to school and make a better life for my son. I have always been fiercely independent until this year. It's not easy for me to ask for help but I've learned it's okay to ask for help when things are this bad. If anyone can find it in their hearts to help us, it would be the biggest blessing in my life. If I'm able to start school, I can better our lives and be a great role model for my son. I already told my son that we can't have our normal Christmas this year unless a miracle happens. I could tell he was sad but he puts on a strong front.  To update today Thursday the 22nd our electricity was shut off. They want the whole amount which is down in the 700's now. I really need this fundraiser to succeed to get us out of this financial despair.  I pray everyday for a miracle.
