There has been a surge of domestic violence since the start of the global Coronavirus pandemic. With millions trapped in their homes to keep the global population safe, so many are facing new and worse dangers at home. Stuck with their abusers and unable to find shelter.
Join us Wednesday May 13th at 5pm PDT for a benefit yoga class to raise funds for domestic violence relief, streaming live on Zoom and our Namastay Safe Facebook event page.
100% of your donations go directly to the California Partnership to End Domestic Violence (CPEDV) www.cpedv.org
This collaborative yoga & Pilates Fusion class will be taught by four Northern California yogis; Danica Radulovich, Felicia Viera, Jenna Maryn Mitchell and Rosalyn Lee.
To attend class, donate a minimum of $10, which goes directly and 100% in full to CPEDV. If you can’t make the event, you can still donate and view the recording of the event with your $10 donation.
❗️Donors will be sent an email from GoFundMe with the link to the Zoom event by the day of event. If you donated and do not receive this email by the day of event, please contact the organizer ❗️
100% of proceeds go to California Partnership to End Domestic Violence (CPEDV).
The CPEDV is providing emergency relief where it’s needed the most right now. In addition to advocating for policy and cultural change to prevent domestic abuse, they are allocating resources to local domestic abuse centers where it’s needed the most right now. These centers are literally giving safe homes to families facing the dangers of their abuser and the Coronavirus.
If you or a loved one are experiencing domestic violence and need assistance, call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-SAFE(7233) or TTY 1-800-787-3224.
