It has been almost a week for Nam and Anda, the journey is not over. The operation has removed most of the cancer that the doctors could see and remove. Now the next stage is chemo. The future is one day at a time for the little man called Anda. He has been strong, and has cried when the pain get unbearable. Anda know this is a battle that he has to win. In Thailand life is not always easy, but the Thai people live with warm smiles. They call it the land of smiles, and for the most of the time,it is just that, land of smiles (LOS).
Today a very good friend of mine Nam is facing the most heartbreaking story in her life. Her son was fine at the beginning of the year. Then a few months ago Nam, noticed her son was moving slowly. Upon taking him to the hospital, we find out he has a serious health problem. One operation has been performed, and another one is needed. Nam and her son Anda, are on their way to Bangkok.
Anda is only 3 and half years old, he is such a happy little boy. He is an angel. Life should not be this way, so early in life. Unfortunately without friends help, his life could be cut short. Bills are mounting up, and the quality of health care in Thailand is limited.
