Hello, my name is Marina. I am a student at Oxford Mississippi and a loving dog mom and I need your help. This is my beautiful baby girl Nali. She is a 4-year-old Husky/Akita mix. I rescued her about 2 and a half years ago. I asked an acquaintance to watch her while I was out of town for my best friend's wedding. Yesterday Nali was hit by a car and left for dead on the road. A kind stranger found her and brought her to the emergency animal Hospital where I was informed she had a broken spine. The surgeon said that she could go into surgery and have a full recovery but that it would cost 15,000 dollars. I have already put in $4,500 just to keep her safe and on pain medication at the Hospital and do not have more money to put towards this surgery. If I am unable to come up with the money I will have no option but to put her down as the pet hospital does not accept payment plans and will not release custody of her to see if there is someone who could pay for it. Nali is a sweet, gentle and extremely loving dog. I have tried everything I can to come up with the money, from personal loans to credit cards but it is still not enough, She has saved my life in ways I cannot explain. If you can denote for her to have the surgery it would mean the world to me.
