Nala Bear is needing all of our help.

We rescued her 7 months ago and she was just a bundle of energy and kisses. She loved toys, balls, fetching and alllll other animals. Sadly she is not the same little girl. She just turned 1 and any sign of puppy in her is gone. It’s been replaced with agony pain and sadness. We have done every treatment the Drs have advised. She’s on 8 medicines, has had 2 biopsy’s, bloodwork specialists, chromatic therapy and stitching it closed. Nothing has worked.

She was diagnosed with symmetric lupoid onychodystrophy in July. It’s an auto immune disease that attacks her toenails inside her bones. We’ve fought it off for months any way we could but sadly

her disease has taking a terrible turn for the worse and her hind leg is needing to be amputated next week. She is staying with her vet for the next 6 days so she can be sedated at night so she can’t break free and continue chewing her foot.

She has chewed every bone in her foot out and her vet is concerned she’ll chew into an artery during one of her cone escapes in the middle of the night and bleed out .

Her amputation is going to be $2500 plus anesthesia. Her week long vet stay is going to be approximately $700 and the prosthetics start at $900.
