Nala's Comfort Fund: A Family's Last Wish

Nala is our first child, our best friend, and has lived with us in all but one place we've ever called home since Adam and I have lived together. We adopted her from HSGS when she was 1.5yrs old in 2012. She is the epitome of a perfect cat. She loves sitting in the window, begging for belly scratches, and singing the song of her people at 3am, when she's playing with her mice toy. She's the sweetest girl you could ever know.

But today we got the news no pet parent wants to hear. After a month, and multiple vet visits, today we learned she has cancer in her mouth and likely her throat. We've been instructed to provide palliative care, and watch for her to start breathing through her mouth. When that happens, it will be time to say goodbye.

I hate asking for help. But her euthanasia and cremation could be necessary any day now, and we are already out of ways to raise this money on our own.

Please help us raise the funds we need to bring our baby girl home once it's time. We are devastated and hurting and it's enough to go about life, working and doing the necessary day to day things. Please help us alleviate some of the deep sorrow we feel, and be able to keep our sweet girl with us forever.
