Hey guys, my name is Natasha and for those of you that know me, know that Nala is my absolute best friend and I would do anything for her and her well-being. That being said, I am in a bit of a rough spot as she was recently diagnosed with a torn ACL. My baby girl has been limping since February, where they initially noticed some inflammation on her meniscus based on radiographs done and prescribed rest and anti-inflammatory. Unfortunately, I did not see improvement as she kept limping on and off, and more recently (the past 2 and a half weeks or so) she has not put any weight on the back right leg. So I took her for a recheck about 2 weeks ago, to which they referred me to an Orthopedic Specialist. The specialist was able to confirm that it indeed is an ACL tear and she needs surgical intervention to repair it. Nala has been in pain, and it absolutely breaks my heart so see her walking the way she is, unable to bear weight on her back leg and not the same spunky, hyper girl she always is. I ask that you guys please share this post with everyone you know in hopes of reaching the goal for her surgery.
