When my walk with Christ began, I was drawn to worship. I loved the music, and loved the celebration, and I loved the way that lyrics could express thankfulness and love in ways that normal speech never could. Until I found a church home, I was sustained by a local Christian radio, and whatever worship albums I could get my hands on. Since then, I have served as a worship leader in both the youth band and the Sunday service band. I have a gift and a passion to sing and lead others into worship, and I know that God has called me to use that.
I have chosen to attend Stetson University in the fall to pursue a degree in Religious Studies with a minor in vocal performance. An opportunity has arisen for me to attend a two week school in California to further my experience and my knowledge in worship. The school is run by the well-known worship group Bethel, and it is a once and a lifetime opportunity. However, this endeavor will be financially straining. The school itself is $900, and the living expenses equal out to about $1200. I believe that the Lord will provide, and will continue to use me for his plan. I am asking for your prayers in agreement with me for this step of faith, and if it is placed on your heart, your monetary investment in my future. Although I am stepping out blindly and trusting in God’s provision, I have never been so sure of a decision. I love you and thank each and every one of you for your support.
