Nakia Wade Housing Assistance

Hello, so sorry to bother you but I do need your help if possible. 

I am sinking farther and farther in a hole. Would you mind helping me gather some funds so I can get on my feet? I was illegally evicted and thrown out of a house I've lived in for the past 6 years. 

My landlord went through some sort of foreclosure so we got put out. I didn't receive any legal information asking me as the tenant to move. No court notices in my name or anything. 

Long story short on Jan 4 while I was clocking into work 4 sheriff's knocked on my door and escorted me out of my house in my pajamas (and they were very very nasty) and the new owner of the property and about 6 workers proceeded to literally pack my belongings out one at a time and sat them in the front yard. 

Definitely devastated, blind sided, and hysterical all I could do was cry and beg for them to give me a few more days so that I could get my things in storage. 

Needless to say my cries fell upon deaf ears.

I called my brother and he came by and we picked through what we could to gather anything we could pack up in the car. 

I was able to get some of my son's (he's 7) toys, a few keepsakes that were sentimental and some of my business equipment. 

I've lost everything and I am all out of money.

I’ve spent my paycheck on food and getting and a hotel room ever since that day. 

My son is the reason I haven't completely lost my mind. The day we got evicted he was at school so I'm grateful he didn't witness the event but his school bus had to ride past the house on his way home that day. 

His dad picked him up from the bus stop and all he was worried about was me. When he got to me he said, "Mama be strong, stop crying, we will be ok!"

That just made me cry even more.

I hate to be a burden and those that know me well know that I hate asking for help on anything......but I need some help, please.

We were given 48 hrs to get the items out of my yard but the landlord had it cleared the very next day. 

I have nothing....

Washer and dryer..... gone

Beds.....gone

Clothes and toiletries ....gone

Birth certificates…..gone

Refrigerator and stove.....gone

My job has been very understanding but I need to return to work Tues, 19 January if I want to continue to get paid. 

With that being said, I have a computer with no power cord to go to work on.

Living room suite..…Gone

Everything......gone

I'm down to my last $40 and need to check out of this hotel today and have no idea on where me and my family will go.

My parents are deceased and my siblings are scattered. We have no one to help us. 

So I'm asking if you could assist with anything financially to just help me get through this difficult time, I would greatly appreciate it.

I've reached out to multiple resources for help but have not been successful. There's a lot of help for women in domestic violence situations and drug addicts but nothing for those of us that work and run into hurdles.

Please will you help.

I need to find somewhere quick before everything in my life falls apart. I can't live like this!

I have no money for applications fees to even apply for these apartments.

I'll need to pay down my utilities and get first month rent and deposit if I can find an apartment.

I HAVE NOTHING!

Anything that you could spare would be greatly appreciated. 

$5, $10, $20 anything would be helpful and we would be thankful.
