Hi, My name is Ray Naito. I'm the owner and head brewer of Naito Beer, located in Cranbrook, BC, Canada. We are BC's first dedicated gluten-free craft brewery. We start selling our first product, Nice Rice Pale Ale in September 2022. We make only GF beer and guarantee 100% GF for all of our products. Now we need your help to bring our beer to more areas.

We are planning to expand our market. We started in local areas, however, GF beer is a niche product and we don't sell enough to keep the business running. Currently, we have a very challenging moment. We believe that we must start selling our beer in more areas as soon as possible. Now we are working on launching in other areas in BC, such as Vancouver and Okanagan, and also Alberta. To start selling in those areas, we need to make a certain amount of beer to deliver to the third-party distribution warehouses. We need a budget for purchasing ingredients and packaging materials, shipping, registration and promotion. Unfortunately, we are short of cash.

I have liked craft beer since I was 20 years old and became a beer brewer in 2017. 3 years ago my body changed and now I can't consume any gluten, and that's why I started this business. As one of the gluten intolerant people, I know how we feel when we are in a store to find food or drink. Normal people can shop from more than 100 choices. We usually have only a few choices, sometimes one, or zero. They may think “If you are gluten-free, you can still drink wine”. Yes, we can drink wine or cider, but it’s not enough. We need beer, because we love beer, and just one kind of GF beer is not enough. We need choices. My dream is to make those people happy with my tasty, 100% gluten-free craft beer.
