Nailsea Leg Club, an award winning organization, is well established in the community having been going for 11 years. We seek to support those with lower limb concerns, especially leg ulcers, whilst at the same time reduce social isolation with our cafe. Qualified nurses are released from Tyntesfield Medical Group to provide the clinical expertise; advising, assessing and treating. A wonderful team of volunteers deliver refreshments and chat - cake is always on hand! The atmosphere is friendly and supportive. The Leg Club is free to attend although donations to cover refreshments are always welcome but not obligatory. We can also, with some restrictions, provide volunteer transport to and from the Club for those unable to get there by other means. We can only, however, see those who are registered patients of Tyntesfield Medical Group, which covers Tower House, Brockway, Backwell and Long Ashton surgeries. It's an inspirational service as well as great fun for members and volunteers alike!
