We are the Norristown Area High School Select Choir and we are ready to bring our musical talent on the road!!!

The Norristown Area High School Select Choir has been given the once in a lifetime opportunity to participate in the Distinguished Choirs International New York (DCINY) choral residency at the Lincoln Center in New York City!  Our students will be rehearsing with local composer and choral director, John Conahan, and presenting his music in concert at the prestigious Lincoln Center on March 20, 2017.  Mr. Conahan personally requested the Norristown Area School District Select Choir to join his mass choir in New York and we could not be more thrilled to accept!

The students of the Norristown Area School District Select Choir are hard-working, dedicated students with a strong passion for musical excellence.  As an ensemble, we perform at multiple school functions and sing in the community regularly.  These students love using our challenging repertoire to express themselves musically and are truly looking forward to this experience.  While some of our students will be able to afford their ticket to the DCINY residency, the overwhelming majority of them cannot.

We believe that all students, regardless of race, gender, or socioeconomic status, should be able to experience life changing, memorable opportunities like this one.  Please help these incredibly talented and remarkable students participate in this esteemed event.  This opportunity would be impossible without your assistance.
