Nahimana Lehema

Lehema, born 1978 and died January 11, 2024. Widowed since 2017 with 6 children to care for all by herself. Lehema was murdered and died a tragic sudden death. Her family is in need of financial support for a proper burial and taking care of the now orphaned children. Any funds would help and be largely appreciated.

Story: Early morning on January 11 in Kinyinya, Province Ruyigi, Burundi. Nahimana Lehema had her phone snatch from her by a man. In attempt to retrieve her phone back she chased the man all the way to a house a few blocks from her own residence. The scuffle resulted in Lehema being murdered by this man who would turn himself in to local police following the incident.
