To ask for something of this magnitude is tough. I hope you all can read the story and help us through these times. Our Khalto Nahida was born and raised in Lebanon. She is one of the purest souls anyone could ever meet. She was rarely off the prayer mat, read the whole Quran multiple times a year, and gave when she could. A true servant of Allah. Everyone’s needs were before hers. Especially when it came to food, that was her love language. The second she knew someone was coming to visit her, “what can I make you for food?” A sentence that will never leave my mind. She came for a visit in Canada to see her son and her granddaughters and the unimaginable happened. Out of nowhere, an aneurysm burst Friday night, hitting her brain stem causing brain death in that moment. When 911 was called, she still had a pulse and was put on a vent immediately. After multiple scans and tests, she was confirmed brain dead and she took her last breath, departing this world. Please help with your kind hearted donations to help cover these costs. She was a visitor, which means no health insurance during a hospital stay. Needing to be sent back to her home in Lebanon for her funeral.
