Early in the morning of Monday, March 26, our beautiful and beloved Rifat Nafisa Peggy Brown passed from this realm to the next. It was peaceful. She passed like she lived -- graceful and thinking of her loved ones.

She was a mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and midwife, with sparkling intelligence, wit and wisdom, dedicated to caring for the sick, the elderly, the young and the animals.

Her memorial services will be held today, Wednesday March 29, 2017 at 11a.m. Light reception will follow on site at River View Cemetery Funeral Home.
