Nadya's family needs our help

For the past 2 years, Nadya was determined to fight the cancer that spread throughout her body, for a second time. She had the attitude of a winner, regardless of the nauseating potion of drugs and the pain, regardless of the fact, that she lost her job while undergoing medical treatments. She managed to find strengths and recovered from months of drug intake, hospital stays where she has literally clung to life through pneumonia, sepsis, kidney failure, heart problems.

Recently, she started experiencing debilitating headaches and seizures. Additional hospital testing proved that was due to cancer spreading to her brain. Nadya’s medical condition is not improving and carries not only an enormous heavy weight emotionally, but financially as well. Her husband Stoyan is on medical leave to be around Nadya.

I can’t imagine the range of emotions and thoughts Nadya, Stoyan and their kids Victor and Emma are facing. We are asking friends to pray and send positive thoughts their way. We are asking friends to help financially or consider sharing with the community and businesses. It’s always humbling to ask for financial help, but they are the family that will be thankful for whatever we can donate. Having said so, don’t send flowers and cards, although we are positive, they will brighten Nadya’s day. She will be happier if we can get some financial assistance to take some of the burden off of Stoyan’s shoulders and bring a spark to Emma’s and Victor’s eyes.
