Nadjel Palmer

Hi everyone my name is Zahara Williston and I am creating this on behalf of a friend, Nadjel Palmer. She is a 20 year old expecting mother who is currently 8 months pregnant. Nadjel is known as fun, loving, ambitious young lady to many. Often seen dancing, singing and just being the light to a dark environment. She was so happy in her first trimester. I could remember seeing her laughing, dancing and just being a free spirited 20 year old enjoying life. However, that light went dim when she was approaching her second trimester and started experiencing excruciating pains. Like any expecting mother she was scared that something was happening to her baby so she rushed to the hospital. Hoping for this best while being scared in that moment she was reassured that her baby is still healthy. Sadly she wasn't. The cyst that she was advised to wait until labour to remove was now ruptured. So much so that it had caused terrible damages to her right ovary. With a procedure so intense, it was very difficult for her to get help from her private doctor who also worked at the public hospital. After several thorough checks the decision was made for her to get the procedure done at University Hospital of the West Indies. UHWI is not a part of the public health system so therefore services are not free. With the help of family, friends and well wishers she was able to raise about $6000 usd to get an emergency surgery done to remove the her right ovary since that is where the dermoid cyst was located. That surgery was done approximately 2 to 3 months ago. Nadjel was so relieved that the pain was gone and she was back to normal. Doing her fun tiktok lives, laughing, dancing and having a good time. Only to be saddened in her recent doctor's visit a few days ago. She just learnt that she will not be able to deliver her baby naturally but rather she has to do surgery to get the baby out. Her due date is roughly around three to four weeks away. She was also advised that because the cut from the recent operation is still fresh as it needs three years to properly heal before she can even attempt to deliver Naturally, they will have to open that same incision to remove the baby. Her pregnancy is currently categorized as a HIGH RISK PREGNANCY and A LIFE AND DEATH SITUATION due to continuous traumatic developmentsshe has been enduring since recently.UHWI is willing to redo the operation which she needs to schedule atleast 2 weeks before the actual date. Unfortunately, at this time she has exhausted all her finances as well as her close family and friends. She is asking for your help to raise funds so she can schedule this surgery so she can have a safe deliver with her and her baby coming out alive, healthy and well. Whatever you can do to help this young mom is greatly appreciated. Sadly, time is not of the essence in her situation. I am kindly asking if you can help in any way please do. We want to see her come out of this pregnancy happy, fun and laughing like she used to because these days she is so stressed and it is not healthy for her or her baby.
