My name is Desiree Ortiz and I am writing this on behalf of my nephew Kenneth Salas.  On the morning of Friday, Jan 24th Kenneth and his girlfriend Vanessa awoke to find their daughter unresponsive.  Born on July 4th, 2015, their daughter Nadine Susan Salas was just 6-months-old at the time of her passing and as any family would be, we are all devastated by this tragedy.  We are hoping to assist in the raising of funds for their daughter's funeral services set to take place on February 1st, 2016.  Kenneth and Vanessa are a young couple supported by a single income, so this passing is causing financial strain as well as the emotional stress that comes with such a tragedy.  We as a family would greatly appreciate any and all help that could be provided by family, friends, and the comunity.  The total cost of the funeral services are estimated to be $6,000 - $8,000 - we are grateful for any contributions that help us take some of the hardship off of this family at this point in time.

For those family and friends interested in paying respects to Nadine Susan Salas, her viewing will be on Sunday, January 31st, 2016 from 5PM - 9PM at Rachal's Funeral Home - 5708 S. Broadway Blvd Los Angeles, CA 90037.  The mass will be Monday,  February 1st, 2016 at 11AM at Rachal's Funeral Home as well with a burial to follow of site (cemetery location unavailable at this time).
