Nadine Randall is a mom, a grandma and a friend to many. Nadine has been a member of Pender Volunteer Fire and Rescue for 28 years, attending countless training sessions throughout her years to be best equipped to help during an emergency. She volunteers at the local food pantry by delivering food boxes to the elderly and shut-ins. Nadine's involvement in her hometown of Pender doesn't stop there. She has driven a school bus for Pender Public Schools for over 30 years, acquiring the adoration of generations of students. Nadine cherished her job of driving PPS students every single day. Recently, Nadine also had the pleasure of driving patients of Pender Community Hospital as a job, but of course, she didn't see it like that.
Nadine is the type of person who would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. She has never been one to ask for help or a handout. Nadine has recently been confined to a wheelchair due to PAD (Peripheral Artery Disease) and is at risk of losing a leg. Her home is not wheelchair accessible. Due to these recent changes in her health, and upcoming surgery, Nadine needs the support of her community. The cost for the work required is too great after suddenly being unable to work for medical reasons. Unfortunately this is not just hard financially for Nadine, but also emotionally. Her whole life she has helped others, and now she needs our help.
The money raised from this fundraiser will help with repairs and handicap accessibility for Nadine's home in Pender. Please consider helping, all donations will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
