Help Nadine MacNeil Receive a Wheelchair

My name is Makayla Landry. Back in 2009, my mom (Nadine Macneil) was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Multiple Sclerosis is a condition that affects the brain and spinal cord, causing symptoms like problems with arm and leg movement, eye vision, and sensation or balance problems. Her condition has progressed to the point where she needs a wheelchair. While searching for financial help to get a wheelchair, she was unable to since Nova Scotia does not cover the cost. My mom then spoke to an occupational therapist to see her options and this was emailed back.

"I got a message from March of Dimes in Nova Scotia and they do not cover the cost of wheelchairs in this province. The March of Dimes is a separate program in Ontario and you have to live in Ontario to qualify for their coverage."

With the cost of a wheelchair being 30,000$, we are unable to afford a wheelchair that helps her get around. I am reaching out for any help that you can give, even a share will be extremely helpful.
