Nadine Gohr’s Road to Recovery Fund

Nadine’s world was turned upside down when she saw her doctor for a lump on her breast. Shortly after, she was diagnosed with Stage 2A/HER2, Breast Cancer.
Following her recent sixteen chemotherapy treatments in five months, her team of specialized physicians recommended a double mastectomy as the next step. Which will take place November 11th. This is precautionary measure from the breast cancer returning and is the start to a very long process. After the mastectomy has healed and after another long-term round of chemotherapy and radiation, Nadine will also face another obstacle, recovering from reconstruction surgery. Both surgeries will take a minimum of six weeks to heal.
After this news, Nadine soon realized that she will need extra financial help from friends and family to help pay her bills during these twelve weeks of recovery. She will not be able to work. This is a tough financial reality for a single mother, especially when being an independent contractor.
Your donation will help Nadine cover her mortgage, utilities, gas (to get to and from appointments), groceries for her and her son Mason, and a little bit of savings for unforeseen expenses.
Those of you who know her would not be surprised to hear that even in the first moments after diagnoses, Nadine tackled the news with strength, positiveness and confidence on the road ahead to being breast cancer-free. Her road to recovery is long but with the continued love and support from her family and friends she will continue to be a beacon of strength.
