Nadia’s funeral and memories with children and grandchildren

Hi, my name is Chantelle and I’m here in the hopes that I can raise enough money to not only help towards my mums funeral but also to help her make memories with her children/grandchildren

her youngest child being 11 years old and youngest grandchild being 2 years old

mums story,

mum was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in 2019 which she fought a long hard battle and after having radio therapy, chemo therapy and a mastectomy she finally beat the battle and was in remission

unfortunately in November 2022 we had the news that unfortunately mums cancer had infact came back and this time was terminal (treatable but terminal) they like to call it (living with cancer now) and well for the last nearly 3 years this woman has not only defied the odds on many occasions but she has continued to fight the hardest battle anyone could fight! All whilst still working a full time job doing 999 call handling for north west ambulance service and looking after 6 children 3 of which are younger and also helping support her 3 older children with our children her grandbabies anyone who knows my mum knows that she doesn’t want for nothing she lets nothing get in her way and she would do absolutely anything for absolutely anyone should they need it not only has she dealt with her own children she also took on 2 extras (one her daughter in law and the other a close close friend for years).

although she is still here and fighting a enormous battle we have now unfortunately had the news that the cancer has spread and chemo therapy and radio therapy will no longer work and given a estimated time frame of around 12 months at a push as anyone would know this has absolutely came to us as a suprise as we was under the impression she still had years left and has ripped my whole family apart. My mum is and always has been the rock in our family and the glue that held everything together

she never ever wants for nothing and has decided that however long she has left is going to be spent doing everything she hasn’t managed to do in her life and always wanted too and also making memories with her kids and grandkids

that being said we also now have a funeral to pay for without a clue how we are going to. I will make it my mission to not only give my mum the send off she deserves but to try and get everything on her bucket list done in the time she has left

all these things cost money and if every person who loves and cares for her could even spare as little as 50p to a pound it all adds up and will help out massively

anything left over will be donated to rosemere at Royal Preston hospital as the love and care my mum has received from them is incredible and we as a family can’t thank them enough

I hope this makes sense things are hard right now and wording everything is 10 times harder
