On June 17, 2021, our beloved sister, Nadia Qazi suddenly passed from cardiac arrest while eating dinner with our father and in laughter
and conversation with her loved ones. Nadia was an educator, social rights, and interfaith activist. She was deeply committed to equity,
human rights, and social justice, and was a passionate advocate for women and children's rights.
In Nadia's honor, we are establishing a $100,000 scholarship fund for women's education. The Nadia Qazi scholarship will elevate talented women who demonstrate two core attributes: active participation in community service and a desire to pursue higher education. Nadia
lived her life with a commitment to the betterment of all communities; it is critical that we carry on her legacy to elevate more
inspiring young women like her. Your donations will fuel the dreams of young women like Nadia, who believed in pursuing her big dreams while serving others. Thank you for contributing to the Nadia Qazi scholarship. While she may be gone, we can ensure her work continues to live on in service to all humanity.
About Nadia:
In her short but meaningful life, she loved children and developed educational initiatives for local elementary schools. She fostered interfaith cooperation and community dialogue while promoting civic engagement within society. Nadia believed fervently in the inherent
goodness of people. She was the embodiment of love and kindness, and always treated every person with tremendous dignity and graciousness.
Nadia followed the motto of "love for all, hatred for none". Her life's dream was to inspire all children to achieve their highest potential. Nadia's impact cannot be quantified. Her sudden and untimely passing shook our local and global community, but her exemplary life serves as an inspiration to all of us to live and love with intention. To that end, we as Nadia's family, intend to establish the Nadia Qazi scholarship to support needy and deserving students.
