Hello everyone,
Our beloved mamochka Nadezhda N. Shevchuk went home to be with our Lord on 10/26/22. She was an amazing wife to Aleksey Shevchuk, an amazing mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and a great friend to many.
On 09/21/22 we rushed our mom to the emergency room because she was having trouble breathing and not feeling good. After many tests and imaging, mom was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. The cancer spread throughout her whole body including her lungs and bones. After being admitted to the hospital, the doctors gave us an estimate that mom would live approximately 6 months to a year without treatment. After one week of being at the hospital mom was discharged awaiting biopsy results to figure out a treatment plan. Two weeks later mom was admitted to the hospital for her oxygen dropping and difficulty breathing. She got discharged after three days on Friday 10/14/22. On Sunday 10/16/22 we took our mom to the emergency room due to her having the worst time breathing. During this last hospital stay, the tests confirmed the cancer was very aggressive, doubled in size and was attacking her lungs. During this stay, moms body was requiring a large amount of oxygen that only the hospital could provide. On 10/26/22 the oxygen was at the max level and couldn’t support her need. She took her last breath that evening with her loved ones surrounding her at 8:55pm. Our mom stayed strong in hope and faith but also understood and accepted Gods will for her life.
We want to say thank you to everyone for your prayers and support. If it’s in your heart, we ask if you can support us to help cover medical costs and funeral expenses. Please continue to pray for our family in this very difficult time.
Thank you ❤️
