Help Support Sheryl's Medical and Housing Expenses

Hi! My name is Karissa Kuns (Sullivan). I am fundraising on behalf of my Aunt Sheryl. I have always had a special connection with Sheryl. When I got to visit her as a child, she always had all the best food and fun activities to do. She played video games and taught me to spark wintergreen lifesavers. Days with Sheryl were always fun! If you know Sheryl, you know her to be a fun-loving, energetic person who loves to bless others with baked goods, fun parties, a beautiful voice, and a cheerful spirit.

Sheryl has been walking her cancer journey for a very long time. She was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2006. She fought fiercely thru years of treatments and constant medications to see her boys grow-up and to live her life to the fullest. Today, the chemo drugs keeping the cancer at bay are no longer working.

The next big step for her treatment is a stem cell transplant. It will take place in Portland at OHSU in the next 4-12 weeks. She will need to stay in Portland for approximately 3 months once they begin the transplant. With her home in Eugene, there will be extra housing and living expenses while Sheryl stays in Portland.

Your donation will go to help Sheryl and the family with medical costs as well as housing and grocery costs that will begin accruing January 1st.
