Nada and baby moving expense fund
We still need some help!!! A couple of months ago, before the Coronavirus impacted everyone's lives, my wife and I ran this GoFundMe campaign to help with moving expenses. We tried to avoid eviction from our Sarasota apartment but that was to no avail. We then were going to use our original funds collected to move but moving wasn't in the cards either. We were compelled to stay at the Ronald McDonald House in St. Pete to be close to our sick infant son until this whole thing blows over. Between our son's congenital condition and the Covid-19 impact on our business we have suffered more financial setbacks. The government is too busy giving mega-corporations tens of millions of dollars that was earmarked for "small businesses". As of this posting, we have received none of the money we asked for from the government, we've been denied loans, and we have been denied Florida Reemployment Benefits which would include relief from the CAREs Act. The only money we can rely on is the money that we could make from our moving business. Sadly, we only did 3 jobs in April compared to 25 jobs last April. Our son will be discharged soon and we will be homeless unless we have enough money to be able to rent something and get stable.
My wife and I aren't looking for charity. We are willing to repay any sizable loans that come our way. Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, it seems some people are ready to move and a somewhat semi-busy moving season is coming. If anyone is in position to help us directly with a loan of $1000+ please message me.
If you are just joining us with the baby situation (see picture). Meet Zakariah Hamdy Samir Nada. Born 1/2/2020 at 9:42 PM. Sadly, he was born with a condition known as CDH (Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia). He has spent his entire life in the hospital. He could be home next month, in 3 months, who knows??? All I know is I want him to have a "home" to come home to. My wife has been with him everyday for 4 1/2 months. Staying at the Ronald McDonald House in St. Pete. He's at the Johns Hopkins All Childrens Hospital being treated by the best CDH team in the world!!! Unfortunately, in January, we closed our UHAUL business because we couldn't afford the rent. We borrowed money to move into an apartment so when the baby was born we'd have a place to live. We did not know before his birth his condition which 90+% of cases are caught during pregnancy. My wife and I have just suffered an unfortunate series of events of the last 18 months. All I have left is my small moving business which will pick up in a few weeks but for now we're not making enough money to rescue us.
My wife and I are decent hardworking people. We are not slugs or deadbeats. We understand we had our very first child in life under the duress of financial strain but what else could we do. We may never get pregnant again and would miss out on the chance to have a baby. We're not beggars either and sadly we don't qualify for financial help. We are truly on our own. If we can even get closer to our goal then in lieu of trying to stay where we aren't wanted we might just use the funds to relocate to a better place.
So whoever can help us with anything or if you want the amount given to be a loan let us know and we will make a list of those that want to be paid back. We are in some dark times right now but a little bit of help from family and friends could shine a bright light on this dark situation.
Thank you all.
