Help Nada's Fight Against Breast Cancer

Right before giving birth to her daughter Malou, in November, Nada found a small lump in her breast.  Thinking it was because of the milk, which had already come in, no internal alarms were set off.  She began breastfeeding with no concerns as she did not noticed the lump anymore. However, six weeks later, in January, she started to notice it again so she went in to have it checked out.

Doctors determined it to be galactocele, a cyst, filled with milk, which doesn’t seem as unusual for breastfeeding women, so there was no reason to be concerned. Although with time, the lump continued to grow to the size of a baseball, and Nada decided to reach out to her doctor again.

This time it was determined to be a tumor with a diagnosis of stage 3 breast cancer. Her fight begins.

Nada, a wife and mother of 3 young children, including 5 month old Malou, is going to start chemotherapy in the next couple of days with the possibility of surgery and radiation afterwards. Her husband, Conor Hadley, works full-time and Nada is the primary caretaker in the home, along with working part-time.

Although her family has insurance, it will not cover everything needed. The copays add up, along with the alternative medicines she will need. The family will also be in need of a nanny while Nada in going through the chemo cycles which can be costly.
