Help me find a home

Hello, My name is Abraham. I’m a disabled Veteran, proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1960-1963. We, my wife & I have rented a home for over 30 years. The landlord was our friend. He has just passed away & his adult children are planning to evict us. We live on Social Security. We have paid our rent all along & took care of the house too. Landlords children know that we have no money, no way to move, no place to move to. They are not willing to help us move at all.
My wife is disabled too. She needs eye surgery & both knees replaced. She is taking care of me. We desperately need help please. I’ve never done anything like this before. I’m praying all the time. I’d like to stay near my Veterans Administration Clinic in Oxnard, Ca. Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, around that area would work out as well. We can’t find a place to live that we can afford!Neither of us can climb stairs anymore. We were hoping to find a 2 bedroom house to rent forever. All of my medical equipment takes up 1 whole room. We need to do this quickly, within 60 days. We can’t even put our things in storage or know people who could help us pack & move us. We have no resources.
We’ve looked everywhere, called everyone, filled out form after form. Nothing has helped us. We have nothing and no where to go. If you could possibly help us, in any way, we would be eternally grateful. Thank you for taking your time to read this, Bless you! Thank you so much. Abraham
