Meet Nacho, a brave three-year-old dog with a tough past and a hopeful future.

Rescued from the streets, he was found abandoned and in critical condition: a badly injured leg, severe malnourishment, and burdened by heartworm, erlichia, and anaplasma.

Tragically, his front leg had to be amputated.

While Nacho is recovering physically, the emotional scars of his abandonment and suffering are evident. He is understandably defensive and shows aggression triggers towards people and other dogs.

We believe Nacho's kind heart deserves a chance to shine. This GoFundMe aims to provide him with the intensive, specialized training and medical treatment he needs to heal psychologically, and physically, to overcome his fears, and learn to trust, giving him the loving life he deserves. Nacho will also be neutered.
