Hi. I am currently in the process of planning my husbands and father to our children's funeral. Thomas was diagnosed in 2023 with parosteal osteosarcoma and had surgery to remove the cancer from his shoulder in January of 2024. They did a total shoulder replacement and replaced his right humerus with a metal rod. The doctor who did the surgery was adamant that he had removed all the cancer and that we had nothing to worry about. Well in May 2025, we found out that he had stage 4 lung cancer that had matastisized from his bone cancer that was supposed to have been cured. He was the definition of strong during the months he fought. He remained headstrong that he wanted no mind altering drugs, no chemo, nothing that would take him away from being able to be home with the kids and i. Even his last days, he kept a smile on his face and only worried about us. We will forever miss him and I really dont know how to begin living without him by our sides. We were married for 16 years. Our 3 kids are devastated as well. Him and our son were inseparable since birth. I am asking if possible to donate to help us cover funeral expenses. Im doing all I can, but I dont have a lot.
