If anyone reading this knows me, or those around me, you'll know how much I will talk about my cat, Nabob. He's been a very important part of my life for the past eight years, my companion and my best friend. No matter the day I could have, I'd always know that my little coffee bean was there for me. He's kept me anchored through the tougher times in life, and I've always done my best to take care and look after him. With all his quirks and funny whiskers, this little guy has always been social and friendly, even when he'd just be meeting you. I love to share pictures of him just as much as he loves to push his way into the chair and sit beside me, or join me when its time for bed.
Around Christmas of 2024, Nabob's behaviour started to take some subtle changes, he was less social, and was not being very active. After about a week of this, I discovered he was experiencing some constipation. After trying to treat it using high fiber foods, digestive foods, and other vet recommended home methods, it wasn't making hardly a difference. A few days later, he started to be unable to control his bladder. Scared for the health of my boy, I called a vet ASAP, and they alerted that male cats around his age, this could be a severe red flag and suggested taking him to the emergency vet clinic.
After bringing him into the emergency clinic, he was seen for triage and initial examinations. It was found that he was experiencing unration troubles caused by crystialztion formations inside his bladder. Later we learned he is having further trouble with his kidneys. The vets at the clinic have been taking care of Nabob while he has been hospitalized. He's been treated and has been responding well to recovery. I'm not going to disclose the poor guys full medical details here, but if you have any questions please reach out to me. The vets are hopeful with continued treatment he will be cleared to come home soon.
His vet bills so far have reached over $4000. For someone going through my own share of health issues and complications, this is a tremendous amount of money. So, I am asking you, if possible and able to, to be able to support me and the bills of my best friend, my companion for eight years, and hopefully a good few more. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated beyond any words I can possibly put together.

Nabob is a Siamese mix breed kitty, his fur pattern and colour resembles a roasted coffee bean.
The name "Nabob" comes from a coffee brand sold in Canada!
