Nabins Fight For Life After Tragic Car Accident

Nabin is a hardworking man who moved to Utah from Nepal with his wife Shradha. They are currently expecting their first baby, who is due in July. They are so excited to be parents to their little girl.

Unfortunately, on March 3rd around 1:30 pm, Nabin was in a car accident when a driver fleeing police crashed into his vehicle at 90mph. The impact was so hard that Nabin’s engine was 100 yards from the vehicle. However, damage to their only car is the least of this couple’s worries. Nabin was transported to the hospital in critical condition. He was conscious just long enough to give his wife’s number to the medics. His body has suffered many injuries. Both femur bones were fractured and needed surgery, he has multiple rib fractures, foot fractures, a broken wrist, broken pelvis and much more.

After surgery, his wife waited anxiously for him to wake, he unfortunately did not. Doctors informed her that a piece of fat from his leg has gone to his brain. Doctors are keeping an eye on this as there is no surgery they can do to help. This past weekend the bad news kept coming, he is now fighting pneumonia. His wife has remained hopeful and by his side throughout this tragic experience. She has yet to talk to him or see his eyes open. However, there is still so much hope for Nabin. He is a fighter. He has fluttered his eyes when he hears his name. He has been sedated again due to him fighting against the breathing ventilator. Doctors say Nabin has a long road ahead of him with many challenges.

We know Nabin has so much fight in him, and he will be united with his wife and baby. Shradha will need to care for Nabin and her newborn baby at the same time come July. With only one family member here in the states, we want to give her as much support as possible. We hope with everyone’s help we can take care of any financial burden this situation has brought upon this sweet family, so she can try and enjoy motherhood while helping Nabin heal.
