NAACP Dane Co. ACT-SO National Trip

Tax deductible
The NAACP Dane County Chapter is proud to announce that seven Madison-area African American students won GOLD Medals at our local ACT-SO (Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological and Scientific Olympics) competition. They are Original Essay - Maya Blasingame; Poetry-Written - Danielle Crim; Dramatics - Jhanae Harris; Poetry – Performance - Jalen McCullough; Drawing - Akil Cooper; Painting - DeMarco Wimpish-Patton; Photography - Amadou Kromah.
Due to their excellence, scoring an average score of 95 or better on a 100 point scale, they have qualified to compete at the National NAACP ACT-SO competition being held July 20-23 in Baltimore, MD.
We are currently raising funds to assist these deserving students in making it to Baltimore for the competition. We need donations to meet their transportation, lodging, meal expenses and student enrichment experiences.
Our fiscal agent, Kujichagulia - Madison Center for Self-Determination, is a 501(c)(3) organization that will be handling the funds and ensuring that they are used for their stated purpose.
Please donate any sum, no matter how small or large, to help these talent youth get to Baltimore and represent the Madison/Dane County area well.
On behalf of the students, we thank you!
