My sweet girl Remi has been critically ill for the past 4 days. High Fever out of nowhere and after multiple vet visits no clear answer. She is the first cat I've owned and has been the queen of the house since she got here. She's always been energetic and the goofiest girl so it's been awful seeing her so sick.

With all of the diagnostics and medication I've already spent a pretty decent amount on vet bills that I'm barely able to cover. Now she's facing hospitalization which I know is out of my budget even with pay plans. I don't want to say goodbye to my young girl because I cannot afford treatment. I'm a vet tech myself and it's absolutely gutting me to be in this situation. If anyone can help Remi heal with the care she needs I would be extremely grateful. She's been released from the hospital! She's doing so much better and I'm so happy she's home where she can get back to 100%. Now that I have an idea of how much everything is it's still a little daunting but it's not as staggering as I thought. Her first visit for supportive care was $570 and then her 1st night of hospitalization was $913. Her half day was $459. So in total it's about 2k. I was able to set up a pay plan but with other expenses that are on going (groceries, gas, rent, etc) I worry it's all going to pile up more. So the funds are explicitly for the vet care and I would love to just be able to pay it off at once to het back to my usual stuff. But I'm so happy she's made a great turn around
